GO BOATING DESCRIBES THE SL262 AS A "SPORT LUXURY" HYBRID
March 1, 2008

For its March 2008 issue, Go Boating was clearly impressed with the Four Winns SL262. The Go Boating Test Team opens the article praising the new Four Winns design. “The SL262 is a departure from ‘traditional’ bowrider designs in that its new Stable-Vee Split Chine hull allows for a beamier bow area and more seating forward.”

Citing the SL262’s many unique amenities, the article explains the boat’s broad appeal, “part bowrider, part deckboat and part ski/waterboard boat, Four Winns’ new SL262 would best be described as a ‘sport luxury’ hybrid.”

The team gauged the SL262’s performance with great success. “To test its rough-water ride on a fairly glassy lake, we had to cross over our own wakes, but they were no match for the SL262’s deep-V hull and extended running surface. The ride was smooth, dry and quiet over the wakes, and cornering was predictable, even at speeds of over 40 mph.”
